In 2011, in addition to our annual charitable donations and with the help of our investors, we financially supported the expansion and infrastructure of a Day Care Centre for the Serbian organisation "Centre for Youth Integration" (CYI). The centre is run in cooperation with the City of Belgrade and operated and administered by the H. Stepic CEE Charity. Through various social welfare programs CYI reach out to ca. 1000 Roma street-involved children, provide educational services and operate a Day Care Centre for which more capacity is needed as a result of high demand. Our donation provides approx. 100 street-involved children with medical and social support during the day. Through the support of the H. Stepic CEE Charity all necessary activities for a successful implementation were carried out free of charge and thus ensures continuous operation for the next few years. |
